Privacy Policy

We count how many people open this site and which garment they click. No cookies are set. The only thing ever stored on your device is a single preference, and only if you switch the measurement off below. There is nothing here to sign up to and no form to fill in. Some technical information about your visit does go to Google Analytics, and the companies that host the site and serve its fonts see your IP address.
What this covers
This covers the website at yerinseo.com and a private tool we run to read statistics from the Yerin Seo YouTube channel and reply to comments on it.
What the site measures
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-MQ8PVH2VNM) on the home page and on every garment page. Google’s consent signal is set to denied before the tag loads, so what it sends is what Google calls a cookieless ping. No cookie is written, and nothing is kept on your device between visits. No persistent identifier is used.

The measurement is not used for advertising and is not combined with data from anywhere else. This page and the terms page carry no analytics.
Why we measure it
We measure it to find out whether anybody clicks through to a garment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the page is used.
Turning the measurement off
One click switches the measurement off for this browser.
Your choice is stored as a single small preference on your own device, so that it holds next time you visit.
Any browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics stops it completely, and the site works the same without it.

Google processes the Analytics information on our behalf. What it does with data from sites that use its services is set out in its own privacy policy and in its note on partner sites. The font providers and the host act under their terms and privacy policies rather than this one. Each may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
When you leave this site
Every garment page has a button to the seller’s shop, and every picture at the top of the home page opens the same shop. When you use either, your browser may tell the shop that you came from yerinseo.com, and nothing else is passed on. From that point their privacy policy applies instead of ours. Shops of this kind commonly set cookies and run analytics and advertising tools. The same is true of the Instagram, TikTok and YouTube links.
How long it is kept
We hold no record of your visit; what we see is what Google’s reports show. Data collected through Google Analytics is held by Google for 14 months, the retention period configured on the property, and deleted when that period expires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to its being processed, and to ask that its processing be restricted. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the channel below.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority. In Israel that is the Privacy Protection Authority. In the European Union and the EEA it is the authority of the country where you live or work, or where you believe something went wrong. In the United Kingdom it is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy you have under data protection law.
Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described in this policy is Moti Gotgilf, a private individual resident in Israel. This site is not run by a company. Correspondence, including any request about your data, reaches the controller at moty.gotgilf@gmail.com.
The YouTube tool
We run a private tool on our computer that uses Google’s YouTube APIs on our channel. It is not a product and nobody else signs in to it. Google requires a published privacy policy before approving an application of that kind, which is why it is described here.
It is authorised for two things, both limited to the Yerin Seo channel:
- YouTube Analytics, read only. Aggregate statistics for the channel.
- YouTube Data. Reading the public comments left on the channel’s videos, and posting replies to them as the channel.
The credential Google issues sits on that computer and is used only to call Google. Statistics and comment text are held locally, for writing replies and following how the channel is doing. They are kept only as long as they are useful. The authorisation can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account security settings, which ends the tool’s access immediately.
Nothing read through these APIs is sold, rented, used for advertising or used to build a profile of anyone. Replies are drafted with the help of an AI assistant, so the text of the public comment being replied to is sent to that assistant’s provider. Aggregate statistics are not. Information received from Google APIs is used in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Children
This site is not directed at children and asks nobody their age.
